With deep devotion and reverence, Maa Manikeswari of Kalahandi has been invited to the grand Nuakhai Bhetghat 2026.
The sacred invitation celebrates the divine presence of the Mother Goddess, whose traditions are deeply woven into the cultural and spiritual identity of Kalahandi and Western Odisha.
“From the sacred soil of Kalahandi, You journey through the Chhatar Yatra, carrying the divine banner high. Mother, with You by our side, what is there left to fear? Draped in Your magnificent black saree and radiating divine power, Maa Manikeswari, may You never let anything fall short for Your children.” 🙏
The invitation is part of the continuing spiritual journey of Paschim Odisha Yuva Manch (WOYM), as it seeks the blessings of the revered deities of Western Odisha ahead of the grand Nuakhai celebration.

Nuakhai is more than the celebration of the season's first harvest. It is a festival of faith, family, community, cultural identity and unity.
By inviting the region's revered deities, WOYM is bringing together the spiritual and cultural heritage of Western Odisha under one celebration.
