On the sacred Monday of the holy Shravan month, the Paschim Odisha Yuva Manch (WOYM) offered prayers at the feet of Baba Harishankar and extended a special invitation to the revered deity for Nuakhai Bhetghat 2026.
With flowers, rice and coconut, the members sought the blessings of Baba Harishankar and prayed for prosperity, strength and success in all their efforts.
An Invitation with Devotion
Nestled in the sacred Gandhamardan hills, Baba Harishankar holds a special place in the spiritual and cultural traditions of Western Odisha.
The invitation to Baba Harishankar was not simply a formal invitation—it was an expression of devotion and a prayer for divine blessings before the grand celebration of Nuakhai Bhetghat 2026.
WOYM prayed:
“O Mahadev, may Your blessings make our journey brighter and more prosperous. When Your divine third eye opens, the heavens, earth and underworld themselves bow before Your power.”
The sacred visit reflects the deep connection between faith, culture and the traditions of Western Odisha.
